Facilitator notes
- The Lone Ranger: “Hi-Yo, Silver, away!” Clayton Moore played the Lone Ranger on TV from 1949.
- Roy Rogers: Trigger was known as “the smartest horse in the movies.” Roy's wife was Dale Evans.
- Timmy: Lassie was a collie who always saved the day. And no — Timmy never actually fell down a well!
- Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz): Toto was played by a real dog named Terry, a cairn terrier.
- Mister Ed: This one is backwards on purpose — Mister Ed was the talking HORSE! His owner was Wilbur Post, played by Alan Young. Ed only talked to Wilbur.
